Trip Length: 3.5 miles (Average duration: 3-4 hours)
Weekday Rate: $30 per Red Lounge Tube
Weekend Rate: $37 per Red Lounge Tube
Capacity: Limited to one adult or an adult with one small child

How It Works: First tip: Book online ahead of time! We sell out on weekends quickly. You drive your vehicle to our location at 589 E Old SR 14 in Winamac, IN. Arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled time. Our office is located next to the parking lot, so no long walks are necessary. Come to the office where you’ll fill out waivers, book your trip, and pay (if you haven’t done so online already). You’ll have a short wait to board a bus, where we take you to the launch site about 10 minutes away. You’ll float downstream on the river back to our location, where your vehicle is waiting for you.
Our Season: April, May, September, and October are weekends only. June-August: Open 7 days a week, with weekdays being far more available for walk-ins!
Tubing Season: Usually starts late June. Varies due to water levels, weather, and temperatures. Trips depart continuously until 2 pm.
Trip Completion Times: Vary based on experience, paddler’s diligence, water tables, and weather.
No outside tubes, floating chairs, inflatables, etc. We won’t haul personal inflatables
Cooler Floats: 28″x 17″x 9″ inflated interior. Fits 36-50 qt. cooler. Float over 200 lbs. Has a fully inflated floor.
No styrofoam coolers and no glass. Please bring a trash bag to help keep our river clean
SNEAKERS OR WATER SHOES REQUIRED FOR RENTAL TUBES & WADING.
Additional Items Sold: We also sell water shoes, waterproof phone cases, suntan lotion, eyeglass straps, and ice.

Frequently Asked Questions

What tubes do you have available?

We have regular adult tubes that are shaped like a donut. We also have upgraded red lounge tubes that are shaped like lawn chairs. They have a backrest and room to put your legs out. These are sometimes good for an adult and small child or a person who doesn’t want to get as wet in the river. We also have donut-shaped tubes with a canvas bottom that are good for children. Please specifically ask for these, however we can’t guarantee their availability.
