Canoe & Kayak Trips
Trip Notes
How It Works: First tip: Book online ahead of time! We sell out on weekends quickly. You drive your vehicle to our location at 589 E Old SR 14 in Winamac, IN. Our office is located next to the parking lot, so no long walks are necessary. Come to the office where you’ll fill out waivers, book your trip, and pay (if you haven’t done so online already). You’ll have a short wait to board a bus, where we take you to the launch site about 10 minutes away. You’ll float downstream on the river back to our location, where your vehicle is waiting for you.
- Our Season: April, May, September, and October are weekends only. June-August: Open 7 days a week, with weekdays being far more available for walk-ins!
- Trips depart continuously until 2 pm.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can we bring our own canoe, kayak, etc?
We will not haul any personal equipment.
Can I use my personal equipment to get off on your ramp?
Unfortunately, we aren’t able to accommodate people using their own equipment. Only customers that are in our boats and tubes are allowed to get off on our private ramp. There are several public access sites you can use that are nearby such as the Winamac Town Park.
How many people can fit in a canoe?
Canoes are meant for two people, but you can fit a small child or two in the middle of the bottom on the bottom. We recommend this only if they are young as most kids will get bored of this if they are too old.
